Sylvia Sirignano, Ph.D.
Developmental Psychologist


Sylvia Sirignano, Ph.D. is a developmental psychologist and mother of two who has worked with parents and children for more than 30 years.  She has done research on parenting at the Wellesley College Center for Research and Newton-Wellesley Hospital and has run new parent and toddler parent groups for the MIT Health Education Department.  She also is a former adjunct faculty member of the Wheelock College Graduate School and continues to participate in divorce mediation training for Divorce Mediation Training Associates.  She frequently contributes articles to parenting magazines and newsletters, and regularly does presentations and workshops for professional associations, schools, work places, and community groups.

Dr. Sirignano is a member of the Society for Research in Child Development, Zero to Three National Center for Infants, Toddlers & Families, and the Massachusetts Council on Family Mediation.

Dr. Sirignano works with a number of other mental health and divorce professionals who also present workshops and work with parents and children in the Parenting Solutions offices and in their own offices.
