Sylvia Sirignano, Ph.D. is a developmental psychologist and mother of two who has worked with parents and children for more than 25 years.  She has done research on parenting at the Wellesley College Center for Research and Newton-Wellesley Hospital.  She frequently contributes articles to parenting magazines and newsletters, and regularly does presentations and workshops for professional associations, schools, work places, and community groups.

Dr. Sirignano also runs new parent and toddler parent groups for the MIT Health Education Department and is an adjunct faculty member of the Wheelock College Graduate School.  Dr. Sirignano is a member of the Society for Research in Child Development, Zero to Three National Center for Infants, Toddlers, and Families, and the American Psychological Association.

Dr. Sirignano serves as a Child Specialist in the collaborative law process and is a member of the Massachusetts Collaborative Law Council.  She is trained in divorce mediation and is a member of the Massachusetts Council on Family Mediation, the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts, the Association for Conflict Resolution, and is a member of the Divorce Center.



Dr. Sirignano works with a number of other mental health and divorce professionals who also present workshops and work with parents and children in the Parenting Solutions offices and in their own offices.
